I usually love running Prov but today it was just hot and not so fun. I also rolled my ankle pretty bad. I mean it really rolled. I walked for a minute afterwards and it felt okay so I ran the rest of the way down (about 2 more miles). It still felt okay at home. I'm at work now and I can tell it's not great but I'm hoping it will feel okay after icing it and taking tomorrow off.
Anyway, back to our run today. This trail is so great for Bailey because there's lots of water. She had a great time dipping into the water every chance she got.
I have been trying to take smaller steps and more of them to get faster. Prov is pretty rocky so I didn't do as well, plus with rolling my ankle I was a bit more careful on the way down. But I did a nice fast pace the last almost tenth of a mile. :)
I've been a bit frustrated with my watch lately because for some reason it's been giving me way too much elevation gain on my runs. I'm not sure what's up with it but I just wish it would work correctly.
getting in the water every chance she gets
This is how I knew she was still ahead of me.
trying to get shots I usually don't get on this trail
the shady parts were nice today
I really like how this one turned out
And this view looks much more magnificent in person with the Wellvilles peaking out in the distance.
